Flowers!!! Colors!!! Sandals!!! Oh my god guys, I am just too excited for spring.
Being in Mexico brought a taste of warmth back into my life and I just had to capture the moment. It's been so long since I've done an outfit post. This shoot was completely random and unplanned (read: no makeup and crazy hairdo). I just wanted to remember the vivid colors, just in case the last few snowfalls back home discouraged me.
Ok so this may not be the fanciest of outfits, but it's so fun and so comfortable. I especially love my new sandals from Steve Madden. It was the first pair of shoes I bought there and I did find they were a bit on the pricey side, but after wearing them for 2 weeks I can tell you it was well worth the money. I just hope they last and retain their quality for a long time!
As for the leggings, they're an old pair I had lying around. As a matter of fact, they're getting a tad washed out. Tell me you didn't notice.
The shirt is new though, I got it at Bikini Village a couple of months ago. I'm so in love with the casual style, length and its loose fit. The fabric is super light and soft, too bad it doesn't come in vibrant colors, I would have bought them all!

ReplyDeleteHi Terri, thank you.
ReplyDeleteyou look amazingggg. that whole outfit is perfection!
ReplyDeleteYay! Thank you so much! I was traveling with 2 babies so I wanted something simple and comfortable. The color made it just a tad more fun. :)
ReplyDeleteYou look absolutely fantastic! I think your pants bring the prefect splash of color to your outfit! Cute sandals too, sometimes the best shoes cost a bit more $$$. I always try to wait for them to go on sale. It makes the purchase that much more satisfying.
ReplyDeleteHi Heather! I love the leggings but they're nearing their end. The color is fading. Lol. I'm trying to find another fun pair of leggings but not having luck. As for the sandals, I've been trying to invest in some long term quality pieces. Working full time and having kids, I just don't want to be going to the store all the time for shoes and basics you know? I want to spend every last millisecond of my days with my littles. On sale is soooo satisfying. I just don't have enough shopping experience to be at the store at the right time. Ugh! Sometimes I'm lucky though, which is pretty awesome.
ReplyDeleteI completely understand! My days are so busy with activities, family fun, and errands, I never have time for shopping at the store aside from the occasional stop to Target. Most of my clothing comes from online. It's easy to keep up with sales and coupons when they email reminders. Plus I don't usually have anyone to go with so online shopping saves my hubby from being dragged around lol! 😆

ReplyDeleteTarget just left Canada. Sad sad news. As for shopping, I usually have to bring my 2yo and newborn with me. They're good boys but it makes me anxious because I don't want to bore them. I have no one to go with either. No family and very few friends (I just moved here not long ago). As for online shopping, I'm always so worried about sizes and I'm so picky for clothes. 90% of what I try I'm like, um, no way. I would probably end up returning more than half of what I bought. Maybe if I knew my stores and style. All in due time I guess.
